Morphed  Alchemy

This collection of sculpture captures the stony and rugged nature of Western Australia, using the very same clay and minerals that form this landscape.

 

The creative processes morph and reveal forms that are hidden within the natural environment; at once zoomorphic and textural, and combining stylized elements with abstract forms. These works are simultaneously fragile, robust, complex and simple.

 

The exhibition features muted earth tones, contrasted with details of metal and gold, a gorgeous mix of installations, sculptures placed on plinths, and wall hangings.
