Home Alone

Home Alone is a solo photographic exhibition from Louise Gan, consisting images of 50 solo-dwellers residing in Western Australia taken between July 2018 and December 2019.  

 

As solo-living becomes the rising trend particularly in western societies, more and more of us are beginning to realise the importance of the Self. Captured during private and unconscious moments, these images recognise the value of the Self by displaying our vibrant yet hidden individuality which, remarkably, also forms a collective human identity.
