Landscape: A Western Australian Perspective

Works from the collection of Carolyn and Michael Levitt

Feb 21 - March 21, 2021

Ellenbrook Arts is proud to present this extraordinary survey of Western Australian landscape paintings that span the decades from mid-century to the early 2000’s. The artists in this collection have each contributed to forming our collective sense of identity in this state. Among the collection are many previously hidden gems and unusual works by significant artists whose vision and perspective on our landscape have been instrumental in developing our artistic and aesthetic approach to art making in Perth and WA in the latter half of the twentieth century. From the private collection of Carolyn and Michael Levitt, and assembled in this way for the first time, this is a must-see exhibition in our 2021 annual exhibition program.
