This award is open to all artists aged between 14 and 18 years as of 1st July 2021

Voting for this award will commence at the Opening Event and close on last day of the exhibition. The winner will be advised within a week of the closing.


Size requirements 


2D Works should not exceed 102cm W x 102cm H


3D works should not exceed 102cm L x 102cm W x 102cm H


Any work not adhering to these size restrictions will be excluded from the exhibition.


Number of entries 


Artists are able to submit one artwork for inclusion in the 2021 Ellenbrook - Swan Art Award.


A diptych or triptych will be deemed as one artwork and must adhere to the size restrictions. Artists must clearly indicate the order of display.


Ellenbrook Arts will endeavor to display all entries; however due to a restriction of gallery space, it may be necessary to limit the number of entries displayed.

The entry fee must be paid when submitting the Entry Form.


Bank transfer is the preferred method.


Use the initials AA and your first name initial and your surname as the reference on the bank transaction.

For example, if you name is George Smith then your bank payment reference would be AA G Smith.

Alternatively, cash, cheque or EFTPOS payments can be made at The Gallery, 34 Main Street, Ellenbrook.


Entry fees must be received by Ellenbrook Arts no later than 5 pm, 21st June, 2021.


The entry fee is non-refundable.


Entry deadlines 


Entry forms and supporting documentation must be submitted by 5 pm, 21st June, 2021.


Incomplete entries will not be accepted.


Any entries submitted after this date will not be accepted.


Exhibition requirements 


All artwork must be submitted dry and ready for install.


Due to the hanging system in the gallery all 2D artworks must have secure D-ring hanging devices attached. Two D-rings are required; one to be affixed on either side of the frame, approximately 5 cm from the top of the artwork, or in proportion to the artwork. The D-rings should be able to bear the weight of the artwork.


Photograph clip frames, a horizontal cord, or strand of wire are not acceptable. Due to the nature of our hanging system and for safety reasons, artworks without conforming hanging mechanisms will be excluded from the exhibition.


A limited number of plinths are available for sculpture, if you would like to reserve a plinth please email: info@ellenbrookarts.com.au with your requirements. Plinths are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and according to the relative size of the sculpture. You may also provide your own plinth by prior approval of the gallery.


Drop off


All artworks must adhere to these Terms and Conditions for entry into the exhibition.


All artworks must be delivered to the Gallery at 34 Main Street, Ellenbrook on Sunday, 11 July, between 1-5 pm.


All artworks must be submitted with either the following details securely attached:


Artist’s name

Year of creation

Artwork title

Price, including 20% commission and GST

Value, if not for sale, for insurance purposes


Opening Event


All entrants will be invited to attend the opening event with a guest.




Board members of the Ellenbrook Cultural Foundation and staff from the LWP Property Group may display an artwork in the exhibition but will not be eligible to win any award.




All unsold works must be collected from the Gallery at 34 Main Street, Ellenbrook on Sunday, 22nd August, between 1pm - 5 pm


In the case of sold works the artist will be advised privately of any sale and the administration and delivery of sold artworks to buyers carried out by Ellenbrook Arts.




Artworks can be put up for sale if wished by the artist.


The price must not exceed $2,000 (two thousand dollars, including GST and 20% sales commission).


If the artwork is not for sale, a value must still be provided. The value of the artwork must not exceed $2,000 (two thousand dollars), this is for insurance purposes.


All supplied prices must include 20% gallery commission (GST included).


Please note that transactions on sold works can take up to 30 days to finalise.




Failure to comply with any of the above may result in exclusion from the exhibition.


Ellenbrook Arts reserves the right to refuse entry or to remove any artwork from the exhibition at any time.
