This award is open to all artists aged between 14 and 18 years as of July 31, 2020
People’s Choice $50
Voting for this award will commence at the Opening Event and close on last day of the exhibition. The winner will be advised within a week of the closing.
Medium and size requirements
2D Works should not exceed 102cm W x 102cm H
3D works should not exceed 102cm L x 102cm W x 102cm H
Any work not adhering to these size restrictions will be excluded from the exhibition.
Number of entries
Artists are able to submit one artwork for inclusion in the 2020 Ellenbrook Art Award.
A diptych or triptych will be deemed as one artwork and must adhere to the size restrictions. Artists must clearly indicate the order of display.
Ellenbrook Arts will endeavor to display all entries; however due to a restriction of gallery space, it may be necessary to limit the number of entries displayed.

The entry fee must be paid when submitting the Entry Form; this can be paid via cheque, bank transfer, or paid in cash or EFTPOS to the gallery at the above address.
When transferring your payment, please use your name as the reference.
Entry fees must be received by Ellenbrook Arts no later than 5pm, Tuesday, 18 August.
The entry fee is non-refundable.
Entry forms, payments and supporting documentation must be submitted by 5pm, 18 August, 2020.
Incomplete entries will not be accepted.
Any entries submitted after this date will not be accepted.
All artwork must be submitted dry and ready for install.
All 2D artworks must have secure D-ring hanging devices attached.
All 3D artworks must be stable and ready to display, with suitable display instructions if needed. There are a range of plinths are available which can be reserved by sending an email to: email@example.com with your size requirements. Plinths are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and according to the relative size of the sculpture. Some plinths have a perspex lid, these are ideal for small pieces such as jewellery and craft items.
All artworks must adhere to these Terms and Conditions for entry into the exhibition.
All artworks must be delivered to the Gallery at 34 Main Street, Ellenbrook on Sunday, 13 September, 9am-5pm.
All artworks must be submitted with either the following details securely attached:
Year of creation
Price, including 20% commission and GST
Category (multiple categories may be appropriate in some cases; ie. City of Swan, Youth, Painting)
Download the Artwork Delivery form here and attach it to your artwork on delivery.
All entrants will be invited to attend the opening event with one guest after their payment and entry has been received.
Board members of the Ellenbrook Cultural Foundation may display an artwork but will not be eligible to win any award.
All unsold works must be collected from the Gallery at 34 Main Street, Ellenbrook on Sunday, 11 October, 2020.
In the case of sold works the artist will be advised privately of any sale and the administration and delivery of sold artworks to buyers carried out by Ellenbrook Arts.
Artworks can be put up for sale if wished by the artist.
The price must not exceed $2,000 (two thousand dollars).
All supplied prices must include 20% gallery commission (GST included).
Please note that transactions on sold works can take up to 30 days to finalise.
Failure to comply with any of the above may result in exclusion from the exhibition.
Ellenbrook Arts reserves the right to refuse entry or to remove any artwork from the exhibition at any time.
